Our work grows from land that has long been cared for by the Ta’an Kwäch’än Council and the Kwanlin Dün First Nation. We honour their enduring presence, cultural strength, and sovereignty—and commit to learning and working in ways that uphold relationship, respect, and responsibility.
From high level curriculum to hands-in-the-dirt programming– we do it differently.
At Rivers to Ridges, we support young people in developing deep, respectful relationships with the land—while fostering empathy, confidence, and a strong sense of belonging. We offer curriculum writing, educational consulting, and outdoor programs rooted in place, culture, and connection. Our offerings are shaped in collaboration with Knowledge Holders, educators, communities, and the natural world—honouring the wisdom that has always lived in relationship with the land.

2024 Registration is Now Open!
In 2023, we updated the way we organize participants! Rather than only offering certain age groups each week, we offer programming for ages 5*-13 every week. Now, we see what ages are registered and create age-based pods of 10 to work with one incredible leader. Sometimes pods meet up to work on similar skills or games, and sometimes all groups come together as a whole camp. The descriptions below still give a good sense of the skills and activities we focus on with each age range.
